Jessica Dengler, P.A
Director of Bright Minds Tutorials
From a very young age, Jessica was drawn to teaching children. In fact, as a young child one of her favorite playtime activities was teaching “school”. As she continued to grow, her love for teaching increased. While in middle school, she volunteered her time afterschool at a local preschool. By the time she was in high school, she was working one-on-one with preschool aged children.
Jessica completed her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a specialization in Education and Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. While at FAU, she also obtained a certificate in Ethnic Studies. She then went on to earn her Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Florida Atlantic University.
Jessica was not idle during her university years, having provided both Exceptional Student Education and guidance office support at both the middle and high school level for five years, while also tutoring in her spare time. She is the holder of a Professional Educator’s certificate in Guidance and Counseling (prekindergarten – Grade 12). Jessica is also certified in Developmentally Appropriate Practices for Young Children from Nova Southeastern University. She has combined more than 10 years professional experience in classroom and one-on-one tutoring in South Florida.
Her passion for education and helping students achieve success continues to grow. Most obvious is Jessica’s vision for Bright Minds Tutorials, Inc., in that she wanted to help all students learn essential academic and life skills, such as how to become self-motivated and independent learners.
